The following table lists information and rates for on-site services. For services not listed or for general questions about a service, please contact me by going to the Contact page. Please read the Notes section for other general information.



Service: Computer Repair and Troubleshooting; E-mail and Internet Problems; Virus Protection & Removal; PC Tune-up; Setup A New Computer System; Hardware Installations and Upgrades; Data Recovery. We support Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME, XP as well as Mac OS X and Linux.

Rate: $65 an hour. (One hour minimum)


Service: Purchase Consultation

Rate: Includes purchasing of product(s). Flat rate of $25 for first product, $5 per additional product or 15% of purchase value, whichever is greater.


Service: SOHO Network Setup; Network Troubleshooting; Wired or wireless; Network security.

Rate: $65 an hour. (Minimum of one hour)


Service: Website Development and Implementation; Website Design

Rate: Varies per project. Please submit a proposal or contact me to arrange a consultation.


Service: Website Hosting; LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, php)

Rate: Varies per package. Packages start at $5 a month and are custom made to order. Please contact me for more information.


Notes:

  • All rates are billed in 15 minute increments, except for the first hour.
  • Fuel surcharge may apply - you will be notified during appointment scheduling.
  • On-site service area is limited to the greater Boston area; additional charges may apply for clients outside this area.
  • Long distance (remote) clients are welcomed to contact me to make arrangements for service.
  • Rates above are for services rendered during normal business hours.
  • Rates for weekends during normal business hours of 12:00PM to 8:00PM are $80 an hour for all services.
  • For services rendered during non-business hours, the rate is $80 an hour.
  • Holiday rates vary per holiday; appointments must be made at least 3 days in advance.
  • A $5 surcharge is added for all appointments not scheduled 48 hours in advance.
  • Phone technical support is not provided.
  • A 10% discount is offered to repeat customers for the second hour of service and after.
  • Customers providing referrals are offered an additional 10% discount on the first hour of service. For information about this policy, please contact me.
